Welcome to Nurturing Support Lactation Care
Jessica Kalinowsky, RN, BSN, IBCLC
Hi! I’m Jess, a registered nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a lifelong passion for supporting moms and babies. My mission is to provide compassionate, personalized care that empowers families to confidently reach their breastfeeding and parenting goals.
At Nurturing Support Lactation Care, I believe breastfeeding is more than just feeding—it’s about building connection, fostering confidence, and nurturing and nourishing your baby in a way that feels right for your family. Every family is unique, and I’m committed to tailoring care to support your specific needs and goals. I’ll meet you where you are, help you navigate challenges, and build confidence in nurturing and nourishing your baby with empathy and expertise. Walking alongside you and your family during such a personal and vital journey is an honor.
My Journey
I felt drawn to caring for moms and babies from an early age. My nursing career began in 2009 in the mother-baby and labor-and-delivery units, where I discovered my love for helping mothers navigate breastfeeding. My own experiences as a new mom overcoming many breastfeeding challenges taught me how vital skilled support is during this tender time.
These personal and professional experiences inspired me to specialize in lactation care. While working at a local non-profit agency supporting pregnant teens, I became a CLC to help my clients with breastfeeding. I had specialized training in a Breastfeeding Medicine clinic for over seven years and fulfilled my clinical hours to become a board-certified IBCLC in 2017.
I decided to open this practice to continue supporting families through feeding challenges in a personalized, nurturing, judgment-free way where parents feel heard, understood, and empowered.
